If you’re forced to go to work tomorrow, and you’ve been feeling like you’re stuck, here’s a few reasons why, and how to fix it.
There I was, again, stuck with a broken down car, no money to fix it. I didn’t have money for insurance either, so I could not deliver any pizzas. Fired immediately.. LOL
I can crack jokes and be real about this because I used to be stuck too! Nothin like busting your ass making someone else rich hey?! lol
So, from a humble and loving place, I’m going to help a few people out tonight. Here’s a few things a few wealthy friends helped me discover, which help me escape from the corporate pyramid/triangle business structure…
When I was younger, before I knew any millionaires or read any wealth books, I used to say silly things like “pyramid scheme” because I heard it from someone, somewhere, but I never really thought to ask myself if the source of that information was actually credible.
The reality is, up to 90% of people won’t ever invest their time into financial literacy, or have any millionaire mentors to teach them any better, so you sit there, living paycheck to paycheck, for years, with half of it going to taxes.
You did what you were told. “Go to school, get a safe secure job”. You trade your time for money, stuck in a business model that is designed to push you down and keep you down.
Why Did I Just Sit There In A Corporate Triangle For So Long?
- Saying “No”:
I remember working really hard, being closed-minded to unknown or “different” ideas, and wasting the little spare time I had on pointless material things that did nothing for my future.I was trading my time for money, in what is called linear income. In fact, I would have ensured failure in my life if I would have kept saying “no” to new opportunities before I even knew what I was saying “no” to.This is what happens when we think we already “know” it all.If you think you’re an open-minded type of person, but you don’t take the time to get the information when “opportunity” is presented, you won’t ever be “at the right place at the right time”.The harsh truth is that most people cheat themselves out of opportunity every single day, making uneducated decisions – programmed to say “no” before we even know what the opportunity is.
- Shrunk Your Dreams To Match Your Income: (TAXES)
We all had the biggest dreams when we younger, but then “reality” hit, and we had to get a normal job or business to make ends meet. Then we started to plan our lives around that income. What would have been most powerful to know is how to get your taxes down to a legal minimum. If you don’t, there is no chance for you to attain wealth. Our taxes are the biggest expense in our lives, and most people never even bother to educate themselves on it. Knowing the difference can change your life. Hint: It’s not what you make, it’s what you KEEP!
- Comfort Zone: “FEAR of the UNKNOWN”:
The power of our subconscious, makes us “stick to what we know”. Kinda like deer on the deer trails.Like animals, once we figure out a “safe” route, we stay on the deer trail, not knowing that this is most dangerous route of all, because now the predators know where you are, every time!Same with a job, it’s not “safe” at all. It is actually very dangerous to have absolutely no control of your income. The average family is only 1 or 2 checks away from Bankruptcy, unless they have something going on the side. Fortunately everyone has now realized that having their own home business is great solution, and supplemental income is now a mega-trend!
Empowering Questions To Get Yourself Out Of The Corporate Job Pyramid Scheme
Many people will not escape from the corporate triangle because they are “comfortable”.
The challenge for most is, in order for you to make a change, it has to be more uncomfortable to NOT make a change than to make a new change.
So, here are some self-empowering questions can be extremely beneficial:
– “WHY should I take control of my own life and future? What is important to me? What would I DIE for?” – (If you have a strong reason why, you’ll figure out the how).
– “Am I satisfied with what I’m currently doing for work? If I keep doing what I’m doing now, am I going to have financial or time freedom in the next 4-5 years?” – (If not, then shouldn’t you work on a vehicle that will get me to financial and time freedom?)
– “Now, when would be a good time to take the next step?” – (Notice I squeezed the word “now” in there?)
– “WHY would extremely successful people like Warren Buffet, Donald Trump, David Bach, Tony Robbins, etc., invest their money and valuable time into the (Home Business) business model, when they can speak about and invest into any other business model?” – (There should be some serious emotional and logical reasons behind it, shouldn’t there?)
I used to be an employee. I felt like a slave. You start at the bottom, trying to work your way up a corporate ladder, making other people rich, stuck in the absolute worst tax bracket.
By law, every company must make a profit, which means, even if the owner wanted to pay the employees what they deserve, the company has to pay the employees the least amount of money, for the most amount of work.
You sit there getting tiny wages, taking orders from shmucks, being told how much you’re worth, when you can go eat lunch, and when you can’t take your kids to Disneyland.
Then, even being self-employed, I was in the same (non-leveraged) income boat. I had bought myself a job!
It is absolute linear income. Month-to-month, still a slave to money. If you stop working, you stop getting paid… Painful. You’ll work for a very very long time.
You see, you’ve already done the old school traditional corporate pyramid business model and you now see where that got you. A whole lot of work and you’re seeing you still nothing to show for it.
It is a matter of working hard in stagnant traditional business with risky liabilities vs. leveraged asset building with businesses that grow exponentially.
It is also knowing the difference between linear income vs. recurring or passive income. Leveraged income has the ability to create a quality of life. More work done with less time consumption. (TIME if more valuable than any money).
Then it becomes more about purpose and passion, spreading knowledge and education, paying it forward. If you have ever felt how that feels – when you help or bless someone’s life, then you understand how addicting it can be.
I had very strong reasons, (like the need to be around my kids), to get open-minded to better ideas.
Eventually I gained a bit of success, learning about royalties and launching many businesses. As my small businesses grew, I quickly realized I was owned by my traditional small businesses. They demanded all of my time.
The responsibilities of overhead, mortgage, insurance, employees, paperwork, etc., took away the quality time with my kids, and it took me away from my traveling and hobbies.
I didn’t have a system running my business. I WAS the system. Huge problem to wrap my head around! In order to come up with a solution for a problem, you have to admit you even have one!
I was in a linear equation. The more “successful” I got, the more BUSY I was. I had money, but I had no time. What kind of life is that?
If you have a business, you know. It sucks to be owned by a job or your business where you can’t be with your kids whenever you want. I realized I was always saying “I’m too busy” to all of the people I cared about.
A mentor friend finally helped me admit to myself…
“Drop your ego, get courageous, and open your mind to learn something NEW, or you will not create change, and things will stay the same.” … and …. “If you want to learn, stop talking. Just LISTEN to the information and logic.”
Another huge mentor of mine said,
“If you already knew how to create money and time abundance, you would already be there….
“In order to have something you’ve never had before, you must LEARN to DO what you’ve never done before.”
I slowly learned that you can’t learn anything if you think you already “know it all”.
They said, “Stop caring about what unsuccessful people say when they try to tear you down, and simply think about your kids and the things that matter.
Doubters and skeptics will still be there in the same place in 20 years, still doubting, still working in their old age like the other 95% of them.
It really does pay to be open minded and take the different path. Most people have no idea how costly it is to do the “normal” go to school to get a job route.
Did you know:
95% of people will be either dead or dead-broke at the age of 65.
Last thing to think about when taking advice:
If you were having issues with your spouse and you wanted to keep the relationship, should YOU really take relationship advice from that friend who’s been divorced 4 times and is currently single? Should you listen to their opinion when they have no good results in that area? NO.
So why would you take business advice from unsuccessful people, and do what they do?!
If you want to continue to get what they’ve got, keep doing the “normal” thing, and you’ll get what they get. There’s nothing wrong with that.
But if you look around to see that what you (or they) have been doing has not been working, you must get open to different ideas.
Either way, every minute, you choose what kind of life you’ll have in the future.
I’m thankful I had valuable mentor friends that went out of their way to teach me how to achieve the life I wanted.
If you believe in growth and abundance, always TAKE A LOOK so you have the information you need to make an educated decision.
Welcome to your journey.
