I’ll never forget it… 

I was making ridiculous amounts of money and it may have looked like “success” to everyone else, but I hadn’t gone on a real vacation for over 7 years…

I regret that I had missed a lot of really important “firsts” in my first 2 kids’ lives because I was “chasin’ that paper”.

Finally I took the time to go to a seminar and learn some Hard Love Truth… (so I’ll gift it to you now.)

If you pay attention, the wealthiest people are always trying to explain in their books…

They said, “Most people think they are ‘free’…  (especially because they live in a land of ‘freedom and opportunity’)….  but in reality they are deep asleep in slavery.” 

The more I listened, the more uncomfortable I was getting. I couldn’t take it. I hated that thought of being one of the sheep…

I was one of them… “A busy business owner chasing money”.

So in this article. I’m talking about absolute freedom – like, next level entrepreneurship…

Clarity is POWER

If you’re serious about real entrepreneurial freedom, there are 2 honest questions you must ask yourself that require honest answers:

  1. If you stop working/managing in your current job/business, do you stop getting paid

  2. Do you spend more time on BBQs, ball games, Social Media scrolling and planning Christmas gifts for other people than you do actively planning your own escape to freedom?

If the answer to #1 is “yes”, then you’re (still) working for what is known as “linear income“.

Linear, or “active” income means that you actively have to work to get the money. There is only one person responsible for your income, and that’s you, so you can not ever stop working.

And if you absolutely can not stop working, then you’re a slave to money aren’t you? 

He continued to press on my worst fear.

“If you are a slave to money, then you are not free

Freedompreneurs have a stronger WHY

There’s a saying: “If you fail to plan, you plan to FAIL.”

In other words, if you don’t have a strategic and proven plan of action for absolute freedom, what are your chances of getting free

I started to get it…  CLARITY is POWER. 

So here ya go…

7 Phases To 7-Figure Freedompreneurship

1. The Right Business Vehicle 

In today’s world, there are a million different “opportunities” out there that claim “freedom”, however most of them are all hype or just plain hokey.

So how do you know which is right for you? This will help you get ultra clarity :

First, I had to start with the end in mind. If your goal is absolute freedom, then it must be the kind of business that, (once it’s built sustainable), will work for you and pay you for life, even if you decide to retire or walk away.

Is there even such a thing?

Yes. If you do the research.

And this automatically weeds out most traditional (and non-traditional) businesses because of example like:

– If you own your own small business, you’ve already experienced that nobody cares about your business like you do, so you can’t ever be fully away or it falls apart. Or you unless you sell it, but then the money stops. 

– Even if you have a non-traditional/online business, yes it can work for you 24-7, but if you stop selling or generating traffic, the money stops coming in.

– Even if you have a few franchise businesses, (employees and a system), you still  have to run around making sure your employees aren’t stealing from you. 

*(I know an owner of 14 Subway Sandwiches businesses and he shared that all his time is consumed driving around to all the stores making sure the 20-year old employees aren’t making sandwiches for all their friends.


– Etc… 

So when I started looking around doing my due diligence, I looked for the people who had the exact  “financial freedom” lifestyle I wanted.

I asked everyone a ton of questions, found some mentors and took a lot of notes. Being open-minded was key when other people approached me with “opportunities”. 

I always tell people to do tons of due diligence before hopping into any business, because it’s like marriage – it’s a commitment!

The point is, most businesses DO NOT have a system and structure that can set you FREE. 

Then, there are other important factors like : 

What could you be passionate about? How much time do you have available to build something on the side? What’s your budget? What much are you willing to grow personally?

Does it have a PROVEN step-by-step system that OTHER people can duplicate, even when you’re not there? 

Does it have a support system? Coaching, training, mentorship?

If it checks these boxes, boom, you’re in. 

Which leads me to… 

2. Mentorship/A Mentor 

I’m gonna make this one short and clear.

How many business ideas come with a mentor? How can you get one? 

This is one of the most important factors because it’s like learning how to ride a bike without someone helping you. 

Imagine being young again, but you had nobody to teach you or be there with you to help you learn to ride a bike.

Even if you were motivated enough to read a book or watch a course on riding a bike, how difficult would it be, and HOW MUCH LONGER would it take to learn. 

Most people do not understand how important this is, (which is why 90% of all businesses fail in their first 5 years, and 50% of those business who DO make it to 5 years fails within the next 5 years.)

So you need a coach/trainer/mentor to help your odds and 100x your learning curve! It literally cuts your learning curve from 40 or 50 years to under 10 years!

Here’s the absolute answer: 

Look for the person who has the results you’re looking for, and reach out to build a relationship and ask them.

Plain and simple. : )

3. The Right Target Market

This is where most people get it backwards. Most people accidentally think that if the product is good, then it “sells itself” and everyone is a prospect!

Then they try to go sell it and put in WAY too much hard work, because NO, not everyone is your perfect prospect!

You could have the best coffee in the world, but if you’re putting your coffee in front of a bunch of Mormons, (or putting your cheeseburgers in front of a bunch of vegetarians), you will sell nothing. 

So, every business has a target market – the exact type of person/customer they want to attract and help. 

You will need to know who that is, so you can find the specific group of people who are ACTIVELY seeking out solutions that your product can help with.

What are their problems, challenges, fears? What do they wake up thinking about? Where do they hang out? 

CRITICAL : These are NOT the people who you have to convince. 

These are people who are AWARE of their problem and proven interested and ready to buy in that specific area! 

4. Deploy An Organic (Good Look) Strategy On Social Platforms

I see most people accidentally blow it here, then quickly give up because they didn’t invest the time to learn how to leverage with Social Media!

Over-excited business owners go right in with way too much “selling” on their personal profile. 

They try to promote their product or business in their bio, on their profiles and in the feed, spamming the same thing on every platform!

Instead of all the spam and selling, you can position yourself with a classy branding look by ADDING VALUE to people’s lives – sharing valuable info, tips, tools and education! 

Instead of getting people in the pattern of “Geez what’s she gonna try to sell me today?”, you can brand yourself in a classy way that attracts the right customers and clients who are excited to hear from you!

If you’re new to Social Media, stick to platforms you’re familiar with at first, maybe Facebook and Instagram. 

Then, ideally you’re making friends with – (building a community of) – people just like you, because you’ll have a better idea of how to attract, influence and enroll them into perfect solutions!  

I see a lot of sales reps and coaches who are “chasing” every single prospect with messages instead of learning the skills to ATTRACT with style! 

“Attraction Marketing” is most definitely the better look! 

5. Deploy Automation To Scale Your Business And Minimize Your Time On Social Media

These days, I don’t have to sell, convince or even post on my personal profile, because I can have FB and Instagram ads doing the work – (basically posting for me!)

So to save time and have a high quality of life, your online funnels and ads will be getting your information in front of laser-targeted prospects (who are already interested and ready to buy from you or join you). 

You have high-converting sales and enrolling “Funnels” for your business and brand. (More on that HERE).

6. Automation For Your Employee/Team Development

A few years into my freedom business, I was making pretty good money, but I was working at least 8-10 hours/day on my business. It felt like I was stuck running on a treadmill babysitting my organization. 

I couldn’t seem to make more than $8k or $9k/month as a “leader” and I stayed in that range for 3 years.

I eventually I got tired, so I invested my efforts to learn and grow in to the next phase:

Automated onboarding systems, trainings systems, Leadership development, etc. 

“Digital Duplication Systems!”

You also have videos, systems, assets and leaders in place who don’t need you to be there. They don’t need you any more. 

They know what to do, they’re using the system and they’re self-motivated and developed.

You’ve truly duplicated your influence and Leadership.

Now… do you have that system your leaders can use to lead, teach, automate and duplicate themselves at different levels for exponential growth? 

7. Dreams – (Vision, Personal Growth & Purpose)

Ok so now you’ve built a 7-figure business… Your dream life … ?   

Well, this is where normally you would go into the next phase:

“Vision, personal growth and purpose” …  However…

If you are reading this, you are not “normal”. We are one percenters who already know… 

If you fail to plan, you plan to fail


It’s not what you MAKE – It’s what you KEEP

This next step is the most over-looked foundational principle in Financial Freedom

It’s your TAXES. Are you taxed to death?

Are you versed with tax strategies and planning? If not, you can not create wealth, and definitely not freedom.

I’m not talking about tax evasion. I’m talking about (legal) tax avoidance

No matter which income level phase you’re at right now, it matters, and what you don’t know (and ACT on) will hurt you. 

This takes some time investment, but there are a ton books written, secret strategies and Laws that benefit you, and it’s SO WORTH IT.
