I remember feeling super “busy” – always asking myself, “where the f*ck did the day just go?“
Then a week goes by…. then a month…
“How the hell did 3 months just go by?”
I Felt Like I Never Had Any TIME
Right? Ok, so here we go. I’m not kidding. I’m gonna show you where the time goes and what to do, so you can build your dream life… NO JOKE.
Do THESE 10 things NOW and watch your whole life change, as you reclaim over 50 hours per week:
#1. Laser Focus vs. Distractions:
In today’s world, the #1 skill is NOT being DISTRACTED by all the noise and entertainment out there.
Most people think they can “multi-task” but this is a LIE, because it’s dangerously unfocused activities.
You can either run around being “busy” for 4-6 hours of unfocused work, or you can be laser-focused for 2 hours and get all your tasks (thoroughly) finished.
Sometime the BEST thing you can do it put the setting on your phone to DO NOT DISTURB for 2 hours.
Get yourself in the right environment, (away from all the distractions), put your head down and LASER FOCUSING on the tasks that you must get done FIRST.
You will basically RECLAIM 5-10 hours of your week.
#2. Other People’s Agenda:
They say, “If you don’t have a plan for your life, then someone else DOES.
So, the basic Law is :
If you don’t fill the slot in your calendar with your OWN focused work, it will be slotted by something/someone else!
When you say “yes” to other people when they ask you to “come to my BBQ” or “let’s go to Happy Hour”, what you’re really doing is saying “NO” to yourself and your family’s financial future.
With Success come Sacrifice, but as you’ll see below, it’s WORTH IT.
Just by saying “no”, you can RECLAIM 5-15 hours per week.
#3. The News and Netflix:
Did you know (average) people watches TV (or some other screen) for at least 3 hours per day?
We all know that the human mind is attracted to drama and depressing stories, which is what the news (and most movies) are all about.
So, if you put bad fuel into a car, (input), how is the car going to run? (Output)
So, if you input negativity into your brain, (input), how is it going to run? (Output)
Will it produce a high quality mood, attitude and energy for you? Not likely.
Turn it off, thank me later.
Get the right “fuel” into your mind, listening to personal development while you’re driving and other menial tasks.
Change your thoughts, you’ll change your life.
You will literally RECLAIM at least 15 hours per week turning off that screen.
#4. Watching SPORTS:
Let me give you some Hard Love, and one of the biggest nuggets in your life…
You seriously could be living your OWN dreams but instead, you’re CHOOSING to watch other people live THEIR dreams!
STOP watching the screen, buying jerseys or ball game tickets. Instead, simply invest that time and money into YOURSELF.
You can RECLAIM at least 5-10 hours per week.
Yep, your meals.
People spend AT LEAST an hour per day deciding, resourcing and preparing their meals.
When you decide to become a high value person, you’ll start to save time with:
– Getting groceries DELIVERED
– Meal replacement shakes – (bonus, you LOSE WEIGHT!)
– Supplements – (When your body gets the nutrients it needs, it shuts off the “hunger trigger”)
– Meal delivery
– Meal planning – (Doing “BULK” cooking on Sunday night)
You can RECLAIM at least 5 hours per week.
Think about it… how much TIME and energy do you spend trying to figure out what to where and how to look every day?
If you study all the highest-end elite entrepreneurs, problem solvers and visionaries, you’ll see they all basically wear the same outfit every day.
(Because it saves them TIME and brain energy). They are all about efficiency.
You can Google more on this, but you can RECLAIM at least 2 hours per week, just by NOT wasting time and energy on menial tasks.
#7. Personal Care and Inventory:
Going to the grocery store to get your personal care items can take hours. It’s a total waste of time, (plus unnecessary wear and tear on your vehicle)!
Use Amazon, Direct Sales companies or even Dollar Shave Club. You can even get on subscription to save even more time and money – (discounts for being a loyal customer!)
TIME is your most valuable resource so I try to NEVER waste valuable time going out to the store for just one single thing. NO WAY.
You can RECLAIM 2 hours per week with this.
#8. Laundry, Cleaning, etc. :
We don’t do it. We outsource. They do it SO much better, and it feels SO GOOD when they’re done!
If you you want to be a valuable person, then STEP INTO it! Here’s HOW:
Let’s say you believe you’re worth $200/hour.
Then why would waste your valuable time doing a lower value ($30/hour) job? Wouldn’t that mean you’re LOSING $170/hour doing that job yourself?
You can RECLAIM 4 hours per week.
#9. Learn to earn passive, leveraged recurring income:
Does that stir up any “disbelief” or doubt in your guy? It did with me too, but this is what eventually freed up 8-10 hours PER DAY for me, (and I literally work 2-4 hour per day now).
If you have a job or small business, it’s most likely taking up 8-10 hours of your day, (minimum).
This is where the majority of your time goes. So what if you could GET RID of that? What would that mean for your life?
The next thing that comes to your mind is, “Yeah but I’m so busy. I don’t have any time to work on something else”.
But if you don’t fit in the time to work on assets that will FREE UP your TIME, then you’ll forever be “busy and have no TIME”!
Once I realized that the ultimate goal is to get UN-busy, I made the time to build extra channels of income, and eventually they set me FREE!
This will help you RECLAIM at least 40 hours per week.
#10. Long or Unnecessary Meetings:
I used to block out an hour to have meetings with my team. I would also feel obligated to show up to other people’s meetings that lasted WAY too long.
Every meeting can usually be cut down to 2o minutes or less. Just cut the fat and get down to business!
The information in the meetings is retained so much better in the mind when they are punchy, plus it creates momentum.
Even Elon Musk says to set your meetings to 5,10 or maybe 15 minute increments.
You’ll RECLAIM 5-10 hours per week!
Ok, there you have it – It’s time to GET YOUR LIFE BACK!
But here’s the catch:
You can’t just “know” what to do.
Most people think they “know” the path, but you can’t really KNOW the path unless you don’t WALK the path!
So from here, IMPLEMENT at least 2 of the tactics on the list above, like RIGHT NOW.
