A quote about steps to success

Tax “Evasion” vs. Tax ADVANTAGED

Wanna Pay LESS In TAXES So You Can  Keep MORE For Yourself ?

Are you taxed to death?*If so, make sure to read this one all the way to the end. I’ll have a free bonus waiting for you…

There are literally hundreds of strategies for (legally) avoiding excessive taxation, but we gotta start at the top with the first sure fire way.

Employment vs Self-Employed

I remember it like it was yesterday…

I was so excited before I would get my check, (I had worked a ton of “over-time”.)

Then once that over-time check was in my hand, a whole rush of  disappointment and RAGE ran through my veins…

EVERY TIME I got my check.

They had taken all the income taxes out, and I didn’t have any say in the matter. I hated that feeling of being ripped off every 2 weeks.

Why does it feel next to impossible to really get ahead?

Why didn’t anybody tell me what I’m about to show you now?

It’s Called The W-2 Form

My mentors say it stands for: “WARNING, TWICE – find your way out of the nightmare at all costs!”

So if you have a regular job, I’d like to invite you to have your feathers (gently) ruffled, because someone should have revealed this to you a long time ago.

I Was Absolutely Stuck

…in the worst tax category possible, and every paycheck, you’re being penalized for being an employee. I know because I’ve been there.

Business owners get to “write off” their expenses – their “costs” of doing business. America runs on small business so they get all the tax breaks!

It’s the business owners that make the money flow and create more jobs, so they get the TAX BREAKS!

Employees don’t create jobs so you have absolutely no tax benefits, and you will never create wealth without getting your taxes down to a legal minimum.

So… if you do not have a legitimate side hustle, you are losing thousands of your hard earned dollars to TAXES every year, unnecessarily.

Because making the shift is super simple as you’ll see below.

Tax Evasion Vs. Tax AVOIDANCE

It’s absolutely LIFE-CHANGING when you learn the difference!

Tax EVASION is when you (illegally) ignore or refuse to pay taxes on the income you earn.

Tax AVOIDANCE is when you invest the time to learn and implement the Tax Laws.

BTW, the Tax Laws were built to benefit business owners, and anyone, (YOU), can (legally) use them to YOUR ADVANTAGE.

This does take courage, discipline and a willingness to learn something new so you can climb yourself out of the “rat race”, but it’s absolutely WORTH IT!

You’ll now gain the advantages with just one tiny mindset shift and finally get your head above water.

Simply follow these 3 easy steps.

#1. Educate Yourself On TAXES:

TAXES are hands down the biggest expense in your life and there’s a reason they don’t put Financial Education in the school systems…

We’re not going to go down that rabbit hole in this article but the majority of people have never been educated on the tax benefits of owning a Home Business.

You can watch these videos HERE.

Let’s just say, “It’s not about what you MAKE – It’s what you KEEP!”

Once you realize the importance of being in a better tax category, you can take action on the next step, which is…

#2. Start Your Own Home Business:

In today’s world there are no excuses.

It’s an equal playing field and a TON of opportunity out there.

You can start your own Home Business in your spare time, (even by TONIGHT), and not only have the best tax advantages, but generate supplemental income.

Some Home Business models are 100% RISK-FREE, (and even without coming out of pocket ONE DIME.)

It takes real work and learning new skills but WORTH IT. Do it NOW!

To put the odds in your favor, make sure there’s a system with step-by-step guidance.

And this is the 3rd step…

#3. Follow a System:

The main reason most people don’t start their own business is because of the “risks”.

Systems take away “risk”, because systems don’t fail (people do).

Most people are afraid of losing money because they don’t know where to start or what to do, so mistakes can be costly.

However, most of today’s Home Businesses have simple, proven, step-by-step systems to follow, to ensure your success.

So here’s the key:

Get clear on what’s important in your life, and why you should invest your time.

Because if your “why” is strong enough, you’ll figure out the “how”.

Why to STOP struggling, STOP living paycheck-to-paycheck and STOP getting taxed to death

A crucial question to ask yourself, because it can change your life :

“What will it COST you to stay stuck in a W-2?”

This truth will make you uncomfortable.

You have been programmed to say “No” to things, before you even know what you’re saying “No” to!

But if you can suspend your dis-belief for a few minutes, you’ll discover exactly why most people stay struggling, month-to-month getting taxed to death.

If you DO NOT start your own business, (costing you less than $500 this year, or even nothing), you will continue to lose between $2,000 and $10,000.

And not just this year, but losing thousands EVERY SINGLE YEAR, because you have absolutely NO WRITE-OFFS.

Attention:

If you are over 18 years old and you don’t even have an extra few thousand saved in a bank account, you must realize – whatever you’ve BEEN doing… is obviously NOT working.

In order for things to change, YOU will have to create the change, or the struggle will remain.

If right now you’re think to yourself “I can’t afford it”, then you must understand, RIGHT NOW, that you can’t afford NOT to CHANGE your life.

And you must decide this NOW. (Not “someday” or “later” because “later” never comes to people who live that life.)

We can help you make a change and finally start to get ahead, walking you step-by-step, all the way to the top.

It’s WAY easier than you would ever think. The first step is the most important one.

Don’t stare up the stairs —  STEP up the stairs!

The (First) 15 Wealth/Personal Development Books To Read On Your Business (Asset Building) Journey

Ok so I get the question almost every day now…  “Which book should I get (next)?”

My best answer is:

This all depends on which “stage” you’re in with your business – (and the challenge you’re currently facing).

You’re gonna hit more than a few walls, and man I sure wish I would have paid more attention to older wiser millionaires would check in on me…

They tried to tell me what to do… but I just wasn’t getting it.

If only I would have thought it through to create more clarity around what I wanted my life to be like…

I would have (better) known which steps to take, and would have gotten there 20 years faster.

So when I’m launching someone into their next level, I start them with the appropriate books, (depending on what they need), immediately…

And depending on what stage or where they are in their journey, (or what new tools/ideas they may need), I guide them to (specific) resources accordingly.

But first, I have to tell you:

If you DO NOT read what you need to read, and DO what you need to DO, then you will NOT be in a knowing space and be able to speak from experience to truly help impact other people’s lives.

Also, only take one step at a time, with yourself, and with other people.

If you (or they) are confused or overwhelmed with too many steps or too much to do, you and they will go into “analysis paralysis”.

Confusion Causes Paralysis, So Clarity is POWER

Below, I’m going over the first 15 books a new Entrepreneur must read, depending on which stage you’re at currently.

You only need to get through ONE or TWO at a time.

If you want to save yourself a ton of time, all while managing expectations and energy, follow this exact formula…

Here we go:

First, I must qualify them, so I’m not wasting my time or theirs…

I’ll take steps to make sure they’re the type of person that :

  1. Does what they need to do, in order to get what they say they want.
  2. They DO what they SAY they’re going to do.
  3. Is coachable

So if they’ve told me they’re interested, but they’ve always been an employee, then I’m not absolutely sure they’re NOT gonna waste my time, (especially if this is their first business venture).

So I’ll do a little (qualification) test as a “filter”. They call this “gapping”.

I’ll tell them:

“Ok, before we go into it, make sure to go out today and get the book “Rich Dad Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki — and when you’re done with the book, call me back.

And guess what happens most of the time?

They don’t call me back!

Why?

Because they didn’t do what they said they were going to do, and they didn’t do what I told them to do, by going and purchasing (and reading) the book!

(Which means they’re not hungry enough and they’re not qualified to get my valuable time!)

Now, the other 1/3rd of the time, they DO go get the book and read it. And guess what happens?

Breakthroughs

They have a huge breakthrough. A full on paradigm shift, and now they TRUST that what I tell them WORKS!

Now I’m positioned and my credibility goes up, because they had significant paradigm shifts. The books save me a lot of work and their belief is high, so now they’ll finally have the desire needed to change their life and do what it takes to get there.

So that’s…

NUMBER ONE – Rich Dad Poor Dad

    1. Rich Dad Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki

Because 95% of people are coming from being an employee, so it’s best if they get that (crucial) initial paradigm shift.

If you’ve already read it, or you’re already a business owner, you can skip to…

    2. The Cashflow Quadrant” by Robert Kiyosaki

This book will help them with 1000% belief in building business ASSETS, leverage and systems instead of small business, trading their time for linear income.

Once an entrepreneur’s paradigm is shifted, they realize the benefits of their time investment and the power of delayed gratification when it comes to Financial Freedom.

    3. Lower Your Taxes, BIGTIME, by Sandy Botkin

Once you understand the Tax Benefits of Being a Home-Based Business Owner, you’ll stay in long enough to gain the skills you need to not only save money, but generate significant income and create long-term wealth.

Another life-changing classic. Do not be confused by the title.

Every wealthy person I know has read the book over 3 times.

It’s about having INFLUENCE. *(They also have a newer version for the Digital Age!)

    5. The Slight Edge, by Jeff Olson

This is the true “secret” to a $uccessful life.

At some stage, you’ll feel like you’re missing the one puzzle piece that would help you achieve the desired goal.

There is no perfect secret, but if there was one, this would be it.

    6. The Magic of Thinking BIG, by David J. Schwartz

A carefully designed program for improvement in the most important areas!

This will help you with a solid foundation for building your bigger dream.

    7. The Power of Positive Thinking, by Norman Vincent Peale

If you’re serious about becoming successful, then you must have a TRAINED MIND.

Without the right mindset, success will be impossible…

This book alone can change your life.

    8. Get Over Your Damn Self, by Romi Neustadt

      A BluePrint to building a life-changing business.

You must identify your blind spots so you can get rid of what’s holding you back.

    9. Outwitting The Devil, by Napolean Hill

“Fear is the tool of a man-made Devil”.

This gets to the root of human potential, while identifying the greatest obstacles we face in reaching our personal goals.

CRUCIAL read if you’re looking to have joy and success.

    10. Think and Grow Rich, by Napolean Hill

A legendary book, because the hardest thing to do is THINK, (so you can GROW).

Every wealthy person has read OVER 3 times.

    11. Mindset, by Carol S. Dweck

Do you have a “fixed” mindset, or a “growth” mindset. Discovering these principles and tools will help you get there. Make this part of your BEING.

    13. The Gap and The Gain, by Dan Sullivan

Today’s attitude, mindset and strategies that will set you apart. It’s easy to weed yourself out of bottom 90%…

    14. 177 Mental Toughness Secrets of the World Class, by Steve Siebold

In my opinion, this is the Bible of SUCCESS. Not only a MUST READ, but 177 MUST DOs if you’re serious about WINNING.

    15. Start Late, Finish Rich, by David Bach

If you’re over 40 and you don’t have a set plan for early retirement, GET ON THIS!

Ok so there’s the first books you’ll need to START.

I’m 100% confident that they will help you like they helped me.

And if you’re the type of person who had already decided you’re going to do W.I.T. – (Whatever It Takes), and GO GET THEM, READ THEM, and then IMPLEMENT what you learned…. then I’m absolutely 1000% sure you’ll be ultra successful in your life and businesses.

Flies on Crap! Look at all the competition!

How To Beat The Fiercest Competition And GET FREE

Finally my friend Scott had to ask me this crucial question, (and I recommend you ask yourself the same) …

How many people, (in your immediate circle), are currently taking massive action toward REAL WEALTH?

For me, 15 years ago, the answer would be NOT ONE. Not a single one of my friends or family members were actively pursuing wealth.

They were all doing the “normal” shit…

You know, “Go to school, so you can get that safe secure job”. Some of them had a small business.

Which means…

That’s Where All The Fiercest Competition Is

And one of the funniest parts was that a few of those normal peeps even tried to talk crap about my “alternative businesses” and would try to laugh behind my back.

So now, let’s unpack this “fierce competition”…

Think about all the people you know:

They seriously are all going for the same college degrees, the same jobs, careers, and small businesses!

So, again, where do you think all the fiercest competition is?

YEP, you guessed it. It’s where the most people are competing – (ALL going for the same jobs and traditional businesses!)

So literally, there is LESS COMPETITION when it comes to building automated business vehicles and systems that create real wealth and time freedom!

If I’m honest, all the normal peeps out there remind me of all these flies here, fighting for the same ummm….. well, you know! lol

Flies on Crap! Look at all the competition!

So how easy is pursuing wealth?

It’s NOT. It’s hard.

But EVERYTHING is hard, and those who look for “easy” are never going to find it because it doesn’t exist, or EVERYONE would be wealthy!

And you’re most likely going to work hard for the next 10 years ANYWAY – (either way) – aren’t you?

So,, it’s not easy, but at least it’s SIMPLE to create wealth — Let me prove it to you

First though, I’ll need to hit on some foundational wealth and time-freedom “re-wiring” for your mind…

According to all the wealth books, real wealth is not measured in money – it’s measure in time freedom

Because what is the number one all time resource in this world?

Time Is You Most Valuable Resource

They say, “You can always make money, (it comes and goes, and anyone can make more of it), but no matter who you are, you will NEVER get your time back once it’s gone.”

And even when you’re on your deathbed, you will not be saying, “I wish I would have worked more”. You’ll be saying,

“I wish I had more TIME”.

So let me give you a breakdown to shift your paradigm…

Let’s say you’ve learned some “new-school” business and built some automated income online, but you’re only making $100k/year. You work approximately 5-7 hours/week on your business.

And let’s say “Mike the millionaire” makes $1,000,000/year but he works on his (old-school traditional brick and mortar) business the usual 80 hours per week.

Which one has true Wealth in your opinion?

Let’s unpack this with MATH :

First, let’s break down the new-school:

If you divide $100,000 by 52 weeks, you get $1923.08 per week. Then you divide that by 7 hours (per week of work) and it will add up to you making $274.72/hour.

Now let’s do the same for “Mike the Millionaire”:

Divide $1,000,000 by 52 weeks, you get $19,230.77 per week. Then you divide that by 80 hours (per week of work) and it will add up to you making $240.38/hour!

So now, when you understand that True Wealth is not measure in money, but measured in time freedom – which one makes makes more per hour and has more TIME freedom?

BOOM… I hope this helps you with a paradigm shift… because we’re barely scratching the surface here…

Let’s Talk About Where All The “Competition” Is

In all the wealth books I’ve read, they basically say, “Look around and notice what all the masses do, and simply look to do the opposite of them!”

Well, easier said than done…

Why?

Because that would mean thinking way outside the box, coming WAY out of your comfort zone, reinventing yourself and learning something new, which is what most people avoid, because it’s unfamiliar.

The best part about that is the words “most people“.

So literally, all you have to do, is DO what most people are NOT willing to DO, to get what they will never HAVE!

Want to see an example? CLICK PLAY below.

And just like I was talking about in that video, there are a thousand ideas and business models to choose from, but “most people” are thinking something like an Amazon business or their own product, t-shirt business, etc.

Again, this would be LINEAR INCOME, a TON of competition, and HIGH RISK because it’s the “normal” stuff… a fierce world out there.

Nothing wrong with all that stuff, but I’ve been there, and I hated it… (and actually, 9 out of 10 businesses go out of business in their first 5 years)…

AND…

You find out pretty quickly that even if you do become “successful” growing a huge business, you’re just more BUSY, with more overhead, buildings, paperwork, employees, attorneys, etc…

So, always play the whole movie out…

What are the consequences of becoming successful in each business model?

For most, if it ends up growing like you would want it to, it owns you and all of your time.

For (a few) others, (less competition), you’ll make the same amount of money, but the (less popular) business models can set you FREE.

Less overhead, less time consumption, the highest amount of upside potential with the lowest amount of risk…

Imagine…

You’ve built it like I did, and now you have tons of TIME to travel, be with your family, surf, or whatever the hell you want to do in this world!

Life has changed, and it wasn’t as hard as you thought, because there was less competition!

What would that mean for you and your family? Would it be worth it?

So there you have it.

You can choose where you want to compete, so choose wisely!

And hey, if you want to discover what we’ve found to be the best business models in the world – the ones that allow us to live our best life – go HERE and watch some free trainings!

10 Distinctions Between Millionaires And Middle-Class

Wow! It’s been a while since I listened to the audio version of this little book, but here’s EXACTLY how we were able to give ourselves a “raise” of over $550k this past 2 years, even through a “Plan-Demic”…

10 Clear Distinctions

10 Distinctions“The 10 Distinctions Between Millionaires and Middle-Class” is the name of a small but very powerful book, by Keith Cameron Smith.

And if you know the difference(s), then you can make sure to think and then TAKE ACTION like a Millionaire!

I always loved listening to this and knowing where to point my mind… This stuff is SO true, and I’m pretty f*ckin’ excited to share it with you…

Here are some of the points I got from this amazing little book…

Starting backward from 10:

#10 – Millionaires Think LONG TERM. The Middle-Class Think Short Term

Let’s start with very poor

Poor people think in a “day to day mentality:

The “poor” will subconsciously ask themselves, “How am I – (“meeeee”) going to survive today“.

They can barely take care of themselves, so trying to help someone else is usually out of the question – a less conscious space of “I” and “Me”.

What they don’t understand is that: what you seek, you will find , and they think scarcity.

People in poverty (at best) think in a “week to weekmentality:

They say to themselves, “Let me just get to this weekend”, just one step higher but still a “me, myself, and I” space. Survival.

The Middle Class think “month to month :

They look to be comfortable, and when you’re “comfortable with being comfortable”, you will stay there, settling for what life gives you.

When you only worry about being comfortable, don’t look or live to be extraordinary.

They’re thinking is, “How am I going to pay my bills this month?”. This is also a “me me me”, (“MY” bills) mentality.

The Rich think “year to year“:

They have a plan and have goals for the year.

More importantly, the Rich are usually Entrepreneurs. They’re always acting on new ideas to solve problems. They help other people get what they want.

Let’s say someone has a problem – (a flat tire) – so the business owner created a solution for them and started a tire store.

If people are hungry, the entrepreneur started the Taco Shop to help people get what they’re looking for.

That is being proactive and valuable in the market place!

The Very Rich/Wealthy think “decade to decade“:

They have an abundance mentality and a Core Value of FREEDOM.

They know that there’s more than enough for everybody to have more than enough. No limits. They constantly looking for growth and where the biggest problems will be in 10 years.

In fact, it’s the wealthy know:

The more you help people get what THEY want, the more you get what you want, and the amount of money you make in this world, (and the quality of your life), is directly proportionate to how much valuable you create in the market place.

The TRUTH is that there is abundance. The LIE is that there is “scarcity”.
Stretch your business plans 10 or even 20 years out!

Also, make sure you learn how to create yourself freedom!

#9 – Millionaires talk about the future and ideas… (while the Middle-Class talks about things and other people)

We’ve all seen how people attract gravitate to others with like-minds, who are just like them…

(Like the gossip groups who get together at lunch or on the 15-minute break, smoking cigarettes and talk about people, lol!)

OR, on the other side of that, is the rich and successful people who do mastermind groups and talk about the future and ideas.

In fact, in today’s world, it’s an equal playing field. It doesn’t even “take money to make money”. (That’s actually a LIE, because you can manifest money at any time you wish.)

So what does it take?

It takes IDEAS and ACTION to make money – not just “money” to make money.

So..

The Middle-Class complains about things and talk about other people.

However, what most people don’t realize is that whatever you THINK about, you BRING about…

Whatever you focus on, expands.

(So, whatever you complain about, you get more of!)

And whatever you appreciate , you get more of!

The power of life and death (and the quality of your life) is in the thoughts and in the tongue!

And remember, you’re a product of your environment, so watch who you hang around in your spare time!

If you intentionally get around those who are focused on the future and ideas, then you’ll have a much better chance of being in FRONT of the bubble, not behind it – (aka, being “at the right place at the right time”)…

#8 – Millionaires embrace change. The Middle-Class is threatened by change

Do people like change? NO. They fear it.

When change is presented to them, they assume it will be negative or painful.

Middle-Class like comfort, not growth…. (because growth requires “stretching” yourself).

Thinking and stretching yourself to overcome challenges is uncomfortable.

Millionaires , when change is presented to them, positive or negative, they say “it’s gonna benefit me either way”!

The are comfortable with being uncomfortable.

This is a much more empowering perspective to gain. If it’s good, cool! If it’s bad, cool!

Either way, it’s a “win” because you can learn from every experience, good or bad.

The only constant is change. When change comes, it is life’s way of making sure we stretch and grow, to become the person we needed to be, in order to impact more people in a positive way.

And there is always an opportunity to grow from experiences.

Do you fear success?#7 – Millionaires take calculated risk. The Middle-Class is afraid to take risk.

Calculated risk means you educate yourself first, and you consider the consequences of failing before you take action.

Here’s 3 questions that can give you profound insight into making wise decisions:

a. What’s the best that can happen?

b. What’s the worst that can happen?

c. What’s the most likely that could happen?

Insight:

If the most likely thing to happen will get you closer to your goals, and if the worst thing that can happen DOES happen, and if you can live with that, then you GO FOR IT!

BUT , if the most likely thing to happen is not going to get you closer to your goals, and if you’re not willing to live with it, don’t do it!

Here are the 3 primary FEARS in Middle-Class that we see.

a. Fear of “Failure:

Millionaires see failure as good.

Because when you fail, you have an opportunity to learn and grow. Middle-Class see failure as bad.

b. Fear of “Rejection

You have to have the desire to succeed, more than you have the need to be approved of by other people.

If you’re successful, some people are going to reject you.

Middle Class can’t deal with rejection.

c. Fear of “Loss:

Millionaires play the game to WIN. Middle-Class play the money game NOT TO LOSE.

You’ll never have a chance to win by playing “defense” the whole game.

With Middle-Class thinking, you may not “lose”, but you most definitely won’t WIN!

#6 – Millionaires continually learn and grow

Middle-Class think learning ended with school.

The biggest challenge for most people is to let go of the ego long enough to admit that we don’t know everything, so we can actually learn and keep growing!

You can (and should) always look for mentors – (in books, seminars, courses, etc.).

It isn’t that millionaires have the “right genes” or anything. It’s that they are always in front of the bubble, staying up with the times, because they are always adapting, learning, and growing.

We are like trees: If you’re not growing, you’re dying.

When you’re a kid, life is so fun, why is that?!

It’s because you are learning, growing and discovering new things every day.

Mostly, the Middle-Class eventually decide to stop learning. You get stuck in “ruts and routines”, which means you’re stagnant.

Millionaires decide to be lifelong students.

The Wealthy 1%#5 – Millionaires work for profits. The Middle-Class works for WAGES

The great Jim Rohn said, “PROFITS are better than wages”.

It is extremely rare to become wealthy working for wages, and I personally have never seen an employee grow rich from a salary.

I’m quite sure you haven’t either.

You can not expect to have built your own dreams if you wasted most of your time building the dreams, (the business) of someone else.

Instead, invest your spare time into yourself to learn how to create profit and scale it in today’s environment….

Adapt!

#4 -Millionaires believe they MUST be generous. The Middle-Class believes they cannot give

This one does not need much explanation on a money level, but every millionaire I know is always willing to give me the shirt off their back or offer advice.

They tithe, because it ALWAYS COMES BACK.

They give back, focus on others and live to pay it forward.

Struggling people, (because of their “me me me” mentality), believe everyone else has that same “me” mentality, so they’re not used to other people going out of their way to help someone else!

Instead, they think everyone is trying to sell them something or has an agenda.

Most people will tell themselves (and others) that they’re “not a sales person“, as if that’s a bad thing, when in reality, the best “sales” people are those who help other people get what they want.

Another challenge is, most people aren’t listening when a millionaire is in the room being generous with their knowledge.

In order to take advantage of Millionaire’s mentorship, generosity, advice, drop your ego, be humble, and LISTEN, because Millionaire’s are always happy to be generous and share how they did it!

Because when you GIVE, you get even MORE BACK. Always.

#3 – Millionaires have multiple streams of income

The Middle-Class only has one job/income stream. Maybe two.

Worse, is is having more than one job – (also called “active” income) – because you are doubling and tripling your tax burden.

If you are to be a Millionaire, you must learn to generate multiple streams of passive (and leveraged) income .

Look to create systems for leverage and easy duplication, so you can build powerful TEAMS of people.

The Middle-Class think “if you want the job done right, you gotta do it yourself”.

The Middle-Class use terms like “Self-Made Millionaire”, which is a LIE.

Nobody has ever made a million dollars by themself. No one person has enough time or energy to do every job by themself.

You must have TEAMS of people to handle everything it takes to generate a millions of dollars in revenue.

Here’s a wild one to think about:

Smart people are too smart for their own good.

Why?

Because nobody can do what they do, and this makes it extremely hard to duplicate or multiply your efforts.

We also have a hard time “letting go” and can’t trust anyone else to do the jobs right.

It’s a challenge to replace yourself, so you’re stuck. If you stop working and managing people, you stop getting paid.

No freedom. No system. No leverage.

Millionaires understand that sales equals income, but MASSIVE income equals duplication – having TEAMS for STREAMS.

There is no such thing as a “self-made Millionaire”. You have to have TEAMS of people, and it’s all about intentional congruence.

Fish with not one line, but a NET! They’re connected and they FEED each other.

For Millionaires, it becomes about networking, recruiting and investing in others with talent.

The "normal" life. Don't do what "everybody else does"!#2 – Millionaires focus on increasing their net worth. The Middle-Class focuses on increasing their paycheck

Forget about the bigger TV and cooler car to keep up with the Jones’.

Build ASSETS instead.

Millionaires get paid, they spend it, THEN they get taxed.

Middle-Class are taxed out of their check before they even get it.

#1 – Millionaires ask themselves empowering questions. (The Middle-Class ask themselves dis-empowering questions)

Middle-Class asks, “Why do I struggle every month?”.

The Millionaires ask “How can I double my income this month?”

So… then you ask, “what’s the meaning of my life?”

They say NO…. Ask, “what would make my life meaningful?”

You ask, “Who am I?”

No. It’s, “Who am I becoming?”

“Who do I WANT to become?”

Then, go out and get it, without any of your old stories and excuses!

Now go out there and not just think like a Millionaire, but go do like a Millionaire!

How To Break The Subconscious Patterns That Hold You Back

“I Just Don’t Have Time”

Ever found yourself saying that?

Too busy to improveIt was freakin’ hopeless…

I remember constantly telling everyone, “Damn. I don’t have time to hang out this week”

and…

“I’m just super super busy”.

I was making insane money… (But too busy to get any quality time with friends and family).

I needed to break that subconscious pattern before another year passed by, or I would continue missing the more important things in my life…

(Like my kids growing through the most important years of their lives).

Have you ever said to yourself, “I wish I could just stay home today.”

Have you ever said to your family, “No I can’t go with you guys, I gotta work.”

You may have even said it today, wishing you were at home relaxing or getting to travel the world, experiencing life with your friends or family.

When I was running around chasing money like a chicken with it’s head cut off, between my business and home life, I would constantly (and unconsciously) make excuses to everyone I cared about.

After a few years quickly passed by, as realized I missed some important years of my first 2 kids’ lives – (Ages 2-8) – and I finally got tired of being “busy” all the time.

Enough Is Enough

I was frustrated and began exploring ideas on how to achieve this whole “financial freedom” thing that they talk about in all the wealth and business books I was reading.

The truth is that it financial freedom is a “catchy phrase” for most, and it is quite elusive for 99% of people.

And finally, after I asked a wealthy mentor of mine how he did it, we sat down and he started asking me some mind-opening questions…

Subconscious patterns MarcFrankMontoya dot comHe asked me point blank, “What is important in your life?”

Then he had me admit…

“Didn’t you just say that you want more time to be around your kids, and experience life, traveling the world with friends and family?”

“And didn’t you just say you want to be FREE?”

I said, “yep”.

He then asked, “OK, but you continue to spend all of your time building a traditional business that keeps you busy, even though it’s keeping you away from the things that matter most to you?”

I didn’t say anything…

Then he was courageous enough to ask the direct question:

“OK, now what kind of person would spend all their time working on things that make them more busy, when all they complain about is they want more time with their kids, and worse, they won’t FIND the time to build something that will get them FREE, so they can get back to what is most important?

I had to admit – “Not a very smart one“.

This is precisely why it is paramount to listen to successful people that have the results you want in your life.

This mentor of mine is always present with his family, traveling, and impacting the world to leave it a better place. I wanted a life like his.

I needed someone to be real with me, to help me realize the pattern I was living.

But seriously, how do you even begin?

Well, he said, “First you have to drop the ego and admit that things must change” … and then you can start with these…

Here’s 5 Things I’ve Learned To Break The Subconscious Patterns Of “Being Busy”

  1. Teach-ability Index:

I had to admit I didn’t know it all, or I would have had the results I wanted already…

You must be teach-able and admit that you’re not where you want to be, so you can break your OLD patterns and GROW new patterns.

You must learn what you didn’t know before, and you must grow into the person you’ve never BEEN before, to get what you’ve never had before!

  2. Watch Out For Being “Too Smart For Your Own Good”:

Being “smarter than everyone” as a professional in your field can actually harm you and your income in another field.

It is very hard to learn anything new if you’re already too smart for your own good.

As small business owners, we tend to have the “if you want it done right, you gotta do it yourself” mentality.

Many times, we don’t trust anyone else to do the job “just right”. We all think we’re so smart…. but only at first!

Sooner or later we realize that the more skilled we become, the less we are able to duplicate ourselves to put someone in our place in case we don’t feel like working that day.

Once we can let go and trust people to do their job or follow a system, we can eventually create ourselves some time freedom.

Think franchising and duplication – which brings us to…

  3. Have A SYSTEM Running Your Business: – (Not YOU running the business):

    Think about the wealthiest people…

Have you ever seen them building the businesses and doing all the work themselves with no help?

No. They have systems. They recruit and find talent to run the systems. They build teams, duplicate and scale.

    Think about McDonald’s:

They didn’t make the best burgers – They made the best system! It’s a SYSTEM running their business.

They made it extremely simple, where any high school dropout can run the building, as long as they follow the manual/system.

This way, we can have people in place that are trained to follow a system and know what to do, even when we’re not there, so we no longer have to be there, holding their hands, and running the business ourselves.

This means we are able to duplicate our efforts, for leveraged, residual income.

McDonald’s owner is actually dead now, but his legacy lives on, and his family still collects the checks!

You want to live a legacy? This is how powerful a system can be!

  4. Build A TEAM:

When you have built a team that can follow a system, you will have leveraged, recurring income.

The term “self-made millionaire” was never true, or even possible. Nobody has ever made a million dollars by themselves. They would not have the time.

Anyone who tries it, dies trying, because that is what’s called LINEAR income. Linear income means, if you stop working, you stop getting paid.

You will work forever in a linear equation, because you are collecting 100% of only ONE person’s efforts – your own – ZERO leverage.

And remember, you’re either being LEVERAGED…. or you’re LEVERAGING!

And if you build a team, well now you have leverage in business – meaning leveraged time, effort, and income.

  5. Goal, steps, action, HardCoreSuccessTraining.com Course Correcting Questions: (Thinking Five Years Out):

    – Are you 100% satisfied with what you’re doing currently?

    – What do you want your life to be like?

    – If you keep doing what you’re doing for the next 4-5 years, are you going to be in a place of financial or time freedom?

Now, if what you are doing currently isn’t getting you the results you want, but you don’t change your language patterns of “being too busy” to make a change, then nothing will change.

You will still end up with a lack of money or time next year, and your situation will most likely even get worse.

The year after that will also be the same or worse, unless you make a serious change in your decisions, habits, and patterns, and where you invest your time.

However, if you take action now and make the time for something that will eventually allow you to be UN-busy, then you will create change for yourself.

So:

What is important to you?

Your health? Freedom? Money? Abundance? Giving Back? Impacting the world and making a difference?

If you said yes to any of these, I invite and expose you to a proven plan, where you could work SMART for the next 4-5 years,
following a step-by-step system that will put you in a place of financial (and TIME) freedom.

So would you even be open to taking an educated look?

If the answer is “yes”, then click right now to watch our “Secrets of the 1%” webinar. It just may be the major paradigm shift you needed to create change, right at the right time.

Remember, the best way to predict your future is to CREATE it,…

Because life doesn’t give you what you want – It gives you what you earn!

Much Love,

The World Is Yours, M!

Scared money don't make money - American't

Scared Money Don’t Make Money – 5 DOs and DON’Ts Of The Free

If I didn’t “get it”, I was never going to be free.

Hardcore success training dot comIt’s crazy to remember how I felt back in the day, when I used to think that working harder was the key.

My Dad always told me, “you gotta work HARD”, and I tried it for many painful years, living that  month-to-month struggle.

Even back then, it was the same story :

The dollar was depreciating, but nobody was getting significant raises. There were other people like me that had jobs, but were always broke, living paycheck-to-paycheck.

And still today, everyone is looking for supplemental income and many are going out and getting 2 and even 3 jobs, thinking that it’s going to change something.

Sadly, they have no idea they are actually working backward, by doubling and tripling their tax burden.

You’ve Heard The Same B.S.

Your parents told you, “If you just put your head down and work harder than others, you’ll win!”, but this isn’t the most accurate information.

The catch phrase “Financial Freedom” is thrown around a lot today, but pretty d*mn elusive for employees and the self-employed. I know, because I used to be there…

So, in this post, I’m going to reveal “5 Don’ts” that I have discovered, that keep most people struggling. This information has helped me get free from the every day stress and grind of doing “normal” daily things.

Now, if you’re ready to live outside of “the box”, I have a warning:

You’ll have to unlearn almost everything you’ve ever been taught about money and time. (Unless that is, you were raised by parents who are free, financially, with tons of quality time freedom.)

So here are 5 initial “NO NOs”, coming straight from the mouth of the mentors I’ve learned from, who are outside of the box and who are totally financially free.

Ready? GO!

1. DO NOT: Make un-educated decisions:

The majority of hard working month-to-month struggling employees have one thing in common:
Network Marketing Recruiting can be EASY. Marc Frank MontoyaThey say “no” before they even know what they are saying “no” to.

Sometimes, business owners, (and even Home Business owners) also do the same thing, which keeps them struggling for time freedom.

The word “opportunity” in the United States is taken way too lightly, because there is so much of it flowing everywhere.

People in the U.S. take it for granted, but the foreigners know more about the ‘American Dream” than the we do!

It is absolutely insane that Americans think the American Dream is to “go to school and get a safe secure job, working for someone else, 40-50 hours/week for 40 years, and retire when you’re 65-70 years old! Haha!!

“And THEN you can travel the world and have time with your loved ones!” LOL!
Are you freaking kidding me?

On the other side, many people self-employed or have their own small business. It is a bit better than a job, but basically we only bought ourselves a job, and we are basically owned by our own business.

Now, I have had several traditional businesses, but it felt like I was married to them but couldn’t say I was in love with them.

I used to pass up great opportunities every day, because I thought I was “too busy”, and I stayed busy for way too many years until it became painful to be way from my kids and I had to open my mind to better ideas and possibilities.

Closed minded blinders , scared moneyHave you ever seen the poor horses downtown, pulling the carriage, with those “blinders” over their eyes, so they don’t get spooked? This is great metaphor for closed minds. —–>

We all would love to think we are open-minded, but then we walk around saying “no no, I’m not interested” to everything and anyone who approaches, (even if many of those offers could greatly benefit our lives or businesses, we wouldn’t know it, because we already said “not interested”!

This is actually not our fault, but, (because of the TV, radio, newspaper trying to sell us everything), we have been PROGRAMMED to say “not interested” to everybody and everything, making extremely uneducated decisions, without at least looking at the information to weigh the value of it and make an educated decision.. .

The challenge for most people is, this fast-paced world of new technology and innovation changes every day, and the only way to catch the wave is to be in front of it.

If you’re not open to the new information – (walking around like a zombie saying “not interested” thinking you already know what it is), you may always be in the dark, making un-educated decisions, missing growth windows and waves, causing you to struggle, month-to-month.

DO: Make educated decisions:
When opportunity knocks, or people approach, invest the time to discover any new information that may just benefit you.

2. DO NOT: Tell yourself stories:

When listening to people’s language patterns, mentors believe they can immediately tell if the person speaking will be successful or not.

You can either have doubt and excuses, (stories you tell yourself for why you’re not where you want to be), or you can be successful, but you can’t have both. Is your cup half empty or half full?

All day long, we talk out loud, and in our head, making up stories about why we are not where we would like to be in life, and giving meanings to things that happen to us. Most of us have no idea that we even do this.

Here’s the deal: It’s not what happens to you that matters. It’s the meaning you give to what happens to you.

You can either use is as a learning tool, (a stepping stone to grow stronger), or you can use it as an excuse and play victim. Are you going to continue to blame outside events for where you are, or are you going to own your life and take responsibility to change the outcome?

It’s called response-ability! You have the ability to respond, and create a different outcome the next time. I believe everything happens for a reason, and it is to build you into the person you needed to be, in order to help others break through the same barriers and patterns.

Break your bad patterns and limiting beliefs, and you will change your life. No more stories! You want to be successful, but life doesn’t give you what you want – it gives you what your deserve.

DO: Invest in yourself and do whatever it takes to change your situation, so you will be in the position – (a knowing space) – to be able to help others break the barriers that used to hold you back. The amount of money you make in this world is directly proportionate to how valuable you become to others in the market place.

3. DO NOT: “Stare in the rear view mirror”:

Have you failed before? Have you seen others fail? Are you scared of even taking the risk again, for fear you might fail again?

So, what if you looked in the rear-view mirror the whole time you tried to drive forward down the freeway? You wouldn’t get very far.

If you’ve ever had a very bad experience at a restaurant, did it keep you from ever eating again or trying other restaurants? It’s a good thing that didn’t stop you from eating, right?

So why would you do that with business ideas – paralyzed with fear just because of your past experience, (or worse), the experience of someone else?

Why would you insist wasting thought energy on re-living your bad experience and basing your future success on past experience of others?

Yes, it is fine to be skeptical, but do you consider yourself educated? Intelligent forward thinking entrepreneurs know that you must keep your mind open, always looking forward to new opportunity, and look to make educated decisions.

If you know someone who has failed in the past, don’t let it keep you from keeping your eyes open, looking forward.

DO:  Look FORWARD toward your big dreams. Look for future, ideas, and opportunity. Assume it will work and visualize the best outcome! Do whatever it takes, and NEVER QUIT. Remember: 95% of people quit on their dreams, but 100% of people that don’t quit, make it!

4.DO NOT: Be a “Laggard”:

Take a look at the percentages of different categories of adopters. Adopters HardCore Success Training dot comNow think about all of the new technology and innovation that comes out every day. Which type of person are you?

a. Are you the “crazy” innovator that has all the ideas? Do you ACT on those ideas? The innovators are a many times a bit “too early” and everyone thinks they’re “crazy”… at first!
This makes it more difficult. Many times the market “wasn’t ready”. If they don’t quit on a great idea, it ends up moving forward. This is a very hard category to be in but pays off huge with persistence, fine tuning, and massive action. OR,

b. Are you an early adopter that stays open-minded to be in front of the wave? These ones are the ones who make a lot of the money in shorter amounts of time and energy. Hesitate, and you miss the wave. OR,

c. Are you an Early Majority type of person that hesitates until “it’s more safe”? Sometimes this means making less money because the window of opportunity has almost passed. OR,

d. What about a Late Majority type of person, following the heard, that only does it when it’s “completely safe”, never taking risks, jumping in after “everyone else” does. Would there be much opportunity there? OR,

e. Finally, are you a Laggard that finally breaks down, the last one to buy the VCR player, even though the DVD player is already for sale…

DO: Be an Innovator and/or an Early Adopter:

When there’s an opportunity and it makes sense, JUMP ON IT, and take massive and immediate action to be in front of the wave! If you have a fear, run straight toward it. Timing is EVERYTHING in business, especially if you want to catch and ride the waves. If you don’t do it, there’s always someone else who will. I’ve witnessed it over and over and over in my life.

5. DO NOT: Put your hand out:

But don’t get the wrong idea! Instead, put your hand UP, and reach up for help!

Personally I looked for mentorship from people who have been through it all.

The “employee mindset” is where you put their hand out, taking no risk but asking for money.

Their relationship with money makes them think they need the money “now”, which is why they look for a paycheck every two weeks.

This is why as an employee, I always felt like I was at the bottom, working hard to build the dream of someone else and complaining that I never get paid what I’m worth!

On the other hand, the entrepreneurs invest their money and time and learn the delayed gratification. They know you have to take the risk to get the reward.

I heard someone say the other day, “I just want to find something where I don’t have to spend any money, where I can have financial security”. I said, “you’ll be looking for a loooooong time!”

There’s no security in a J.O.B.

In fact, it’s risky – you’re not in control of your income and can be laid off any time someone else chooses.

The only way to have any real freedom and security, is to start your own business.

The ones who seek “safe secure” jobs are the ones who are in DANGEROUS situations, one check away from bankruptcy and the whole family being out on the street.

I personally believe that the only safe secure thing you can have is multiple streams of income and solid business assets, run by proven systems – economy proof!

So…

DO:
Invest time and money into yourself.

Take the risk to get the reward.

Take action NOW! If you’re too scared to let go of your money, you’ll always play defense.

Instead of playing “not to lose”, play to WIN. Play offense, and let’s get you WINNING the money game…

Thinking Outside The Box VS. Living Outside The Box (5 Key Factors)

Have you ever felt like there’s just gotta be something better for you out there, somewhere, somehow? If you have, I know exactly how that feels, because that was me, every day.

Before I was a pro snowboarder, I had every job you could think of. It felt hopeless, but looking back, my biggest challenge was that I just didn’t have any mentors, so I had absolutely no idea what living outside the box even meant…

Here’s what it means to the millionaire mentors I’ve learned from:

We always hear the term “thinking outside of the box”. They say it in the “traditional” corporate world all the time…

In fact, to all of us in the Home Business world, that would be an oxymoron.
Example: When you’re working in a building from your cubicle, with the boss telling you to “think outside the box”! LOL

My first mentor almost shouted to me, “In order to have an extraordinary life, you must not settle, doing ordinary things.”

And, “If you don’t have a side project, where you’re learning and growing every day, then you’re sticking to what you know, living inside the box.”

The harsh truth is, most people think they are free, but they are not.  You may already swear up and down that you already “think outside the box”, but “there are many forms of the box”, as another mentor said.

So, if you can suspend your disbelief, just for a moment, and step out of your dot, you can also start living outside of the box!

If You Are NOT Living Outside The Box, There Is A Price You Will Pay

Get Outside the box at www.MarcFrankMontoya.com I used to say “No” to things (like new ideas when they were presented to me), before I even completely knew what I was saying “No” to, and then wondered why I was feeling “stuck”.

I always imagine what my life would have been like if I wasn’t open-minded enough to try skateboarding, snowboarding, and new ideas in business.

My whole life would have been different, and I would have gone the “normal” route. I may have never lived all my dreams of traveling, making tons of money, and having all the freedom.

If I would have just been closed-minded and said no to “no, I’m not interested in that”, I would most likely be working in some building for the last 18 years of my life, slaving away in a businesses or a job, getting taxed to death with no time freedom.

How many people do you know that are living inside the box, still working a regular job or business, wishing they could make more money with more freedom?

How many people do you know, who are tired, broke, and over 55 years old, and still working? A lot, right?

Thinking but not living outside the box can really cost you millions of dollars as each year passes by, so here are 5 initial habits to learn and implement…

5 Habits To LIVE Outside The Box

1. Change your environment:
Get around people who actually are living a life of abundance and freedom, outside of the box! Learn from them and copy them to get what they have.

If you don’t know any people like that, then that should tell you something about your environment. Who do you know that are actually actively trying to be wealthy? This will be your best environment!

2. Invest TIME into YourSELF:
The great Jim Rohn said, “You should always work harder on yourself than you do at your job.”

People who think inside the box are the ones who are suckers to consumerism, buying material things that will do nothing to better your future outcome.

Those who live outside the box constantly invest time and money into themselves, (seminars, courses, books, mentors, self development), and business assets to make money while you sleep. Let’s dig specifically into…

3. Wealth Books:
There’s a huge difference between school books and wealth books.

Professionals invest years in school and books but never learn anything about money or leverage. In school, you may just memorize enough to find a job, trading your hours for linear income in the vicious cycle called the Rat Race.

There, you are programmed to spend the first 25 years of your life (or more) acquiring skills, to you can work hard for the next 40 years, until you are 65-70 years old.

“And THEN you get to relax and travel the world, and play, and be around your loved ones!” hahaha

Wealth books will help you gain leverage and abundance – a paradigm shift.

You’ll understand once you read the books. One of the books is called “Rich Dad Poor Dad” or another called “The Cashflow Quadrant”, by Robert Kiyosaki, is a good place to start!

4. Be OPEN To New Ideas, FOREVER:
I used to believe I would always be in the snowboarding industry, but once I saw someone else with the life I wanted, and I asked him how to get it, he quickly let me know: “You must be open and have the courage to get uncomfortable and adapt in this fast-paced changing world of new innovation.”

If you believe in staying ahead of the game and pioneering like I do, then you must be willing to step up and be open to new business ideas and technology, or else you will fall behind and struggle.

The key is showing up for yourself to receive all new available information.

If you don’t keep up with the times so you can make educated decisions and control your life, then someone else will control your life. Create your future, rather than being a victim to it.

5. Build Your Own Freedom With Multiple Channels Of Income:
If you’re serious about living outside of the box and want to make early retirement happen for yourself and your family, then look for business models that create 24-7 leveraged recurring income.

This will immediately create more time freedom and abundance in your life. For more on making money while you sleep, click here on how to make money while you sleep.

Somethin' ain't workin'! Marc Frank Montoya dot com

If You Feel Like “Something” Is Wrong, Do Something Different, Or Things Will Stay The Same!

Do something different! Ever Feel Like You Should Be Trying Something DIFFERENT?

…Like somethin’ just isn’t working … but you keep on doing it anyway, over and over and over again, hoping something’s gonna change for you?!  Hint: (Like you’re job!) LOL .. We’ve all been there, it’s all good! I was stuck in a job for years, because my parents told me that was what I was supposed to do. Problem was, I was gullible enough to think that things were gonna “get better someday“…
Now I know that I had what some people actually call Some Day Disease, better known as Quiet Desperation…

I remember, back in the day, I always had this feeling in the back of my brain, that I needed to do something different. I was better than that. I had this lame ass dead-end job that I hated, typing numbers into computers and loading the boxes up for shipping, and had absolutely no plan or ideas on which direction I could head. My boss was an ass. Not very sharp either. The bosses never recognize that I worked harder than the talkative break-taking slow guy next to me, but we got paid the same. That wasn’t fair! I busted my ass, for 12 hours every night, 6pm to 6am, just to find out that they tax you even HARDER when you do over-time, so it never amounted to anything more. No matter how many extra hours I sweated over those boxes, I still lived paycheck to paycheck. It was going to be impossible to have any kind of quality life if I didn’t find something better…

What It Will Cost You NOT To Do Something Different Immediately

I wanted a better life, but I didn’t read the personal development books like they told me. I also didn’t invest my free time (or the little money I made) wisely. Instead, I was chasing women, went to clubs, buying beers, and watching other people live their dreams on TV. Only later I learned how they did it. I’ll give you a hint. They didn’t watch other people (who had worked their asses off to be good at a skill) live their dreams on TV. Those few who were actually physically on the court, had practiced and trained, investing time and money into themselves, every extra second they had. The few who did that were not watched by the 20,000 people in the stands who give their money, watching other people WIN the game of life from the sidelines.

It’s not that I didn’t deserve the dream life I have now. It’s that I made the decision not to deserve it, by doing stupid things with my time and money, every hour of every day. I was actually, every second, deciding not to actively search out better ideas to find and try better ideas. It was almost like my ego didn’t want to admit that I was doing something wrong, that wasn’t working.  Hardcore success training dot comI had my head buried in the dirt, like an ostrich, settling for what life “gave” me, as I struggled, month-to-month for the next 3 years. The regret of daily decisions like that aren’t going to hurt you so much now, but when you’re on your death bed, you’re going to feel that, and it’s going to be painful if you don’t at least get up and give it your best.

My baller friend T.R. finally asked me again if I had ever read “Rich Dad Poor Dad” and of course I still hadn’t, even though others successful people told me to do the same. When I finally read it, years later, I found out that I was building someone ELSE’S dream, not my own. What I was doing, had been getting me nowhere, slow and painful. No wonder I had that feeling in the back of my brain!

No wonder I couldn’t ever get ahead, or had any assets to show for all my hard work! I was closed-minded, getting TAXED TO DEATH, passing up opportunity after opportunity. I was just doing what “they” told me to do – taking their advice to “go to school, get a job”, but they had no success, so why the hell did I do what they told me? How many years did I waste, by not listening to these better ideas from successful people?
Doing “what I was told” was not working for me AT ALL, so I had to finally un-“fix” my mind to be open for new ideas….  Continue reading

Well when you’re younger, there is nothing better. Pro snowboarding is the ultimate dream life. We get paid to do what we love . It is absolutely the best lifestyle EVER…

I traveled the world the world, for over 15 years, fully living the dream. I had endless energy, tons of money, and total freedom, (or at least I thought so at the time). It really was the best life – what every single person dreams of.

The harsh reality is, there’s a shelf life for every athlete. The big problem for 95% of them is that they think it’s going to last forever. You get older, and when it comes, it comes fast. But on the good side, you gain wisdom if you stay humble and your ego doesn’t get in the way. My challenge was, I had tasted a lifestyle of traveling and freedom, so there was no way I could go back to normalcy.
I was psychologically unemployable!

I could never put up with anybody telling me what to do all day at a job, having a say over how much money I’m worth, or when I can go on vacation, so pro snowboarding was such a blessing to me! LOL!
Even though I had the best life, I remember the feeling of just wanting to relax once in a while, because I was beat up and exhausted. I wanted to sleep in. I wanted more time with my kids.

When I started to read books, I realized I was most definitely not “making money while you sleep, like my other wealthy friends and mentors were doing. I was on yearly contracts for money, so if I stopped snowboarding, I stopped getting paid – the same as any other normal employee or small business owner who works for what I now know what is called linear income.
Then one day I was watching a documentaries on pro athletes and saw that 95% of all athletes never took action to set themselves up with a “Plan B”, and ended up with nothing when their career was coming to a close. Within 3 years they are basically divorced and bankrupt. We can’t help but think “it’ll last at least a few more years”, and all of a sudden you hit the wall, or get injured, and then frantically scramble, trying to transition into something else, starting from scratch. They hadn’t invested their spare time to gain another skill. I see this over and over and over again, and wow it’s rough, they’re toast.

Clarity And Alignment With Life Goals

Now, if you grow grow wise fast enough, you come to the realization that time is more valuable than money. So when I sat down and invested in myself for some wealth and life mastery coaching, we gained clarity on some uncomfortable realities that most of our egos won’t even allow us to admit. Like most, I didn’t have any sort of leverage. I learned that the reason I was always busy and never had time for my own family, was because nobody could take my place and be Marc Frank Montoya if I was gone on vacation. I found out that this is why I hadn’t even gone on vacation in 4 years. I was basically screwed, with only 1 person responsible for my income – ME.
If I didn’t make a change, things would stay the same.

The more wealth books I read and seminars I went to, the more frustrated I would get, having this feeling of having to work for linear income until I was 65 years old. HELL NO.
I wanted the life that my mentor friends had. All I knew was that they worked from home, and had all of that financial abundance and time freedom. It seemed too good to be true for me when they would talk about it, but my friend Scott, (who was making around $90k/week), would say, “yeah, it’s only too good to be true for the fools who think they’re not worthy of it”.
On powder days, my friend T.B. would fly in from his mansion in Costa Rica to ride the powder for the week, He’d call me up and invite me, but I’d have to turn him down because I had to go work and film when it was powder. I hated that, because I just wanted to ride powder with my friends. He’d start at 9am and be done by 1pm, and then work on his laptop in front of the fire for a few hours in the evening. I was so jealous.
Pfft, I just wanted more free time for myself and my kids.
I became obsessed with knowing more, and how to get free, financially, so I could build a better lifestyle, without having to go back to some crappy job with a ridiculous boss in control of my life like I had before. There was no way I was gonna go back to that existence.

A picture of some snow on the side of a mountain.

The Dark Side Of Pro Snowboarding

A man sitting in the snow holding his snowboard.I grew tired of being Marc Frank Montoya, the “cool guy” in demand, pulled around in every direction, doing autograph sessions, photo shoots, waking up when it’s still dark, before my kids even woke up. I started to hate being out in the cold doing manual labor, shoveling snow to make big jumps, and hiking uphill in powder all day, just to get back at 8pm, with no energy left to play with my own kids.

Being the “super cool pro snowboarders” we were, we would forever have to rush to the places around the world that had good snow and do a ton of heavy work, filming, hiking, and then hurry and rush back out of town to film the next spot. We were always in the cold, even when it was summertime here in the States! I hated that! I wanted to be at the beach! There was no chilling in other countries to do touristy stuff, experiencing the world cultures, or really relaxing for too long. It was always work work work, hike, shovel, take pictures, sign autographs, a quick belligerent party at the end, and then rush out all hung over on the flight back home, LOL!
After a while you get tired of that, especially if your kids and loved ones are waiting for you at home. It became painful to be at work most of the time, missing the most important things in life.

So I stacked some dough and launched a few small businesses. This was a huge turning point, but not in a good way. As a traditional business owner, my lifestyle went to crap, and immediately got 10 times worse. I quickly went from traveling the world, to being a slave to my businesses, stuck working indoors, all day, away from my kids, chasing the money, with tons of responsibility. I felt stressed, overworked, and we had huge deadlines, every year, and risk that would keep me up at night, so no sleep.
At one point, I just wanted to give in and get some job where I wouldn’t have all the stress. I could just show up and have someone tell me what to do, so I wouldn’t have to think all the damn time!
What else could I do?
I was still psychologically unemployable, so I couldn’t go back to the life of working 50-60 hours/week, making someone else rich for a tiny wage. Definitely not an option for people like me who have tasted freedom. I would stay up thinking and searching…

A man and child on a bicycle. So, my solution after tons of research, wealth books, and due diligence:
Drop my ridiculous ego and build my own Home Business.

Make Money While You Sleep. Not Just A “Catchy Phrase”

This catchy phrase “making money while you sleep” may seem silly to the few who don’t believe it’s possible. But most people in today’s world know how ridiculously simple it can, especially if you’re willing to adapt to these more efficient business models. I saw this with old mom and pop snowboard shops. Those who don’t adapt and get online, fall behind the bubble and struggle. The internet is open 24 hours, and if once you put something online, it stays there! And everyone buys online now, to cut out the middle man old school brick and mortar stores. And everyone know you can make money from home now, by connecting customers to these companies! What a wonderful concept! Completely ridiculously wonderful!

Sharing Information In The Information Age

If you have a passion and you learn to get good at spreading information on it, especially in the Information Age, you’re going to generate leveraged 24-7 income. The fact that everyone is now connected with social media makes it easier and faster to spread information. This information is online 24-7, and you cause customers, not just in the United States, but on the other side of the world, so while you’re sleeping, people are waking up in other countries, searching for things they want, and ordering products online. When they order, and you’ve caused those customers, you get paid, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, whether you work or not! LOL. How crazy dumb simple is that?

Anyway, for your enjoyment, I made a quick amateur video while I was on vacation in Boulder City, Nevada, at my mentor friends house. I forgot what I said on there now, but it’s pretty much the way we are able to condense about 30 years of hard work into 5 years of S.M.A.R.T. goals and work.
(Specific, Meaningful, Action-oriented, Realistic, Timely)
My wife and I now work from home, part time, with our cell phone and laptops, and we’re both always able to be present with the baby! I know a ton of fathers like mine, who support their family, but don’t really see their family so much. I know how painful that could be so I wanted to put this out there for you.
It’s not like we’re even Billionaires, but we do get to travel around with our laptops, building our business from anywhere in the world, with total freedom, creating #Fatherpreneur and #Motherpreneurs, all over the place!
This, of course, is not for everyone. You would have to be open-minded and coach-able, and it would take you a few months to learn some new strategy. Also some personal development and growth mindset. But holy crap, this stuff is so damn worth it, if you have kids that you want to be around, or a world you would like to travel.

Now, I can’t promise that we can make you millions, but what about an extra $40k or $80k/year?
Shoot, even an extra $2k/month is completely life-changing for most people, and it makes all the sense in the world, which is why you now see so many business owners and friends starting their own Home Business for even more channels of income.
This type of business asset will eventually create more financial and time freedom for you than anything else, because once you pay off your car and your house, and you have no bills, but you have $60k coming in, you’re now living a more quality, stress free lifestyle than most millionaires.

Freedom Through Duplication and Leverage

The best job in the world, is being self-employed!Imagine what would it mean for you, if you had more money and more time freedom for the most important things in your life? What if there was a way that you could build a better lifestyle than a pro snowboarder, right from your own home?
Could you suspend your disbelief long enough to find out how, and then do what it takes to get it?

Make money while you sleep!

Make money while you sleep? It’s AMAZING and WAY easier than you could ever imagine….

I Used To Wake Up In A Pretty Bad Mood
Grateful for a job? MarcFrankMontoya dot com

I mean seriously, not a good feeling. It’s no way to live…

Even as a professional snowboarder, I would have to wake up before I was done sleeping, (before the sun comes up and before my kids were even awake), and I was pretty bummed about it.

This was my daily routine before I had the sense enough to ask a mentor friend some advice.

As I asked the questions, a few of them took the time to show me “how to make money while you sleep” and my wheels started turning.

I thought I’d share a post about it, because once you realize the power of building business assets and growing teams of leadership that span around the world, you can’t un-realize it!

Gotta say, I’m feeling pretty fucking blessed right now.

But it wasn’t easy…

Make money while you sleep! Not Just A Catchy Phrase

Making money while you sleep is not even the right wording.

Because when I’m sleeping and the money is coming in, it’s not like I’m actively working to make the money at that time – I’m sleeping!

I mean yes, you have to be dead-serious and consistent, investing the time and effort to build yourself a real business, but self-growth is fun and you can make your own schedule!

And once you’ve grown a business with a system that works for you 24-7, your income is automatically generated, so you literally wake up in a state of euphoria, grateful, with multiple sources of income.

Imagine that…

A financial fortress around you and your family that nothing can penetrate. This is how you sleep comfortably.

Not to mention the fact that you if you hate alarm clocks, you can choose to wake up when you’re DONE sleeping – THAT was always my ultimate goal!

Oh and one more thing:

It’s not only about the money, but you have more freedom to do whatever the hell you want, ALL DAY LONG.

Here’s the part where I (also) said, “YEAH RIGHT”…. “Is that even possible?”

Yes, here’s HOW:

Do you realize that when you’re asleep, somebody on the other side of the world is purchasing something online, so you can literally have commission checks waiting for you every day when you wake up?

Geez, wouldn’t YOU feel more energized to get up? Would you feel like sharing what you discovered?

This is what happens when you realize how simple it is to make that happen for yourself…

Making Money While You Sleep, MarcFrankMontoya dot comHowever, this is not the “normal” way you’ve been taught to make money, so it’s out of your “comfort zone”…

You’re gonna to have to suspend your disbelief for a moment to wrap your head around this.

“Financial Freedom”

It’s a real catchy phrase these days, but it’s (still) extremely elusive to most, because of your “normal” programming.

They told you, “Go to school, learn a skill, so you can utilize your skills at a safe & secure job, working hard until you’re 65 or 70 years old”.

“THEN”, they said, (when you’re old, achy and too tired to want to do anything), “you can travel the world and have quality time with your family!”

They Told You To Do It, But Who Is “THEY”?

I finally sat down and got coached to gain clarity on what I really wanted in my life, and it it turns out that real freedom would be impossible with any “normal” job or small business.

And don’t just believe me, (I’m already bias), but just look around….  you’ll realize:

95% of our friends and family work hard to pay taxes, through their better years, never learning about the paradigm-shifting concept of leverage or passive recurring income.

Now, if you’re like I was, you shy away from anything new or different.

We all initially think “that’s not for me“, because it’s uncomfortable to have to go out and learn something new or reinvent yourself.

A mentor once told me, “growth is most definitely uncomfortable, and sometimes even painful, but it is so damn worth it.” …… especially when it comes to making money while you sleep!

Your Ego Tries To Keep You STUCK

Most of us have an ego and it doesn’t like to be “wrong”…

So initially, you might not want to admit that what you’re currently doing for work is NOT getting you where you want to go, but you stay there, STUCK.

I “Already Know”About How To Make Money While I Sleep

I know what goes through many people’s minds, because I used to think and feel the same way.

I thought I already knew the path, but I wasn’t WALKING the path.

I was making tons of money and everyone else thought I was “successful”, but I didn’t feel successful because I didn’t have time freedom.

I didn’t want to start from scratch and have to learn “new concepts” or ideas, but I had to start somewhere…

Later I learned the new concepts and strategies would ultimately set me free. I just wish I wouldn’t have waited so long.

It’s funny how we all do things that we know are not working, but we sit there in what we call “quiet desperation”. Don’t do it ANY LONGER.

Every Day Matters

The longer it takes, the more painful your regrets (and realizations) are, later on…

So here’s the cold, hard, simple truth that my mentor friends told me:

Linear income means you have to work to make the money, but then you have to work AGAIN to make the money… it’s like running in a hamster wheel.

A different or better job will get you exactly the same results.

As an employee, you are taxed so heavily that you will never get ahead.

When you do get a “raise”, it always comes more responsibilities and more taxes to pay – you’ll have even less freedom.

You end up trading the most valuable hours of your life for depreciating dollars – (especially with today’s inflation).

And sooner or later, you realize that it’s not the money that you are looking for :

What you’re looking for is the freedom and quality of life that money gets you.

There is no freedom in a job. It will forever keep you far away from your other passions.

Now yes, if you love what you do, that is success, but like my friend Scott says :

“If when you stop working, you stop getting paid, then you’re a slave to money and you’re not free.”

Anthony Robbins says, “Success is about being able to do what you want, when you want, with who you want, for as long as you want.”

In my experience, he’s telling the truth:

In fact, I learned that it is actually worse to be “successful” in traditional small business, because the more “successful” my businesses grew, the more busy I was, meaning I had less time freedom.

I made tons of money, but had no life.

I was a professional, (so because of my specialized skills, I could not duplicate myself, so nobody was able to take my place.

If I stopped working, I stopped getting paid.

(Hmm, that’s the same as a JOB, isn’t it?)

I felt like a slave, owned by my businesses – linear income – (same as my jobs in the earlier days). It demanded all of my time, money, and energy.

I was always the last one to be paid, after all of the taxes, employees, and overhead was paid.

Why Making Money While You Sleep Is More Important Than You Think

Making money while you sleep is mandatory if you like freedom, traveling, being outdoors, or if you have kids.

When I was younger, my parents weren’t around as much as they wanted to be, because they had to work all day.

I got in ridiculous amounts of trouble because my Dad wasn’t there to discipline me. He worked in another state.

My Mom was highly educated, but could not find a job for what she graduated for. She ended up being a used car saleswoman. Their hours are 9am to 10:30pm.

I never saw her. She had to work to support us.

I know many fathers that feel like they support their family, but they don’t get to see their family as much as they would like.

Twenty-four seven leveraged recurring income is your solution. It’s the only thing wealthy people invest their time into.

They do not teach their kids to “go to school, so you can have a safe secure job”.

They think outside the box. They teach their (C student) kids how to HIRE the (A student) kids!

They create quality time for their kids, and use smarter business “vehicles” to achieve the life of their dreams.

Wealthy people with time abundance follow proven and automated systems for making 24-7 leveraged income.

“Systems” meaning well-oiled proven step-by-step plans that work….every time, all the time!

They are proven solutions for YOU, and if you work them, they work. And ultimately you’ll have a system running your business instead of YOU running the business!

I remember one of my mentors telling me:

“The ONLY reason you are NOT making a 6-figure income is because nobody has ever gone out of their way to educate you on a proven, step-by-step system, or you’d be there already!”

Last few important things I had to ask myself:

“Is what I am doing right now going to get me what I want in next 4-5 years?”

“Is what I’m doing right now even working?”

Broke College Graduate

5 Reasons You May Be A Struggling College Graduate And How To Fix It

If You’re A Struggling College Graduate, Here’s A Few Key Points Your They Didn’t Tell You. (Because They Didn’t Know)

A blue circle with an apple on it.With my corrupt school system beliefs, people ask me, “Are you going to send your kids to college or no?”

This is a very good question and I’m glad you asked!
Yes, they will go to college….. only if they really want to!

I’ll tell you this… I did, but as I looked around and realized it wasn’t working for anyone I knew, I jumped up, fled to the mountains, and never looked back!

I remember when my parents were pushing me and scolded, “what are you going to do with that skateboard? You need to hurry and go to college and get a safe secure job!”!

My Dad loves me, and he thought he was protecting or helping me, but he unintentionally almost killed my every dream I ever had.

If I would have listened, I would have never lived every dream I’ve ever had.

If I would have stopped skateboarding and “given in” to go back to college and do the normal route, I might have been what normal heads call  “successful”, which was being stuck indoors 8-10 hours/day, every day, building the dreams of someone else, some job or business I hate, existing simply to chase money.

Instead, since I did almost the opposite – something “different”, and I got to live the dream life…

A pie chart showing the income of people at age 6 5 and the wealth of individuals. Now, in today’s world, if you pay close attention to statistics —>>
Having a job or small business doesn’t work for most people. It is an extremely dangerous position to stay in.

So why do most people think that this is the “safe” way to go?

It is simply because their parent’s passed down this information, which was passed down from their parents, who also didn’t know any better, and may have come from The Great Depression, where it was more “safe” to have a safe secure job…

That was in the Industrial Age. But THIS is the Information Age!  So….

5 Reasons Why Being A Struggling College Graduate Is The “Norm”

  1. They Asked The Wrong Questions, (And Told You To Pick Something):
They ask, “What do you want to BE when you grow up?”.What they should have asked is “What do you want your life to be LIKE?”I can’t tell you how important it is to find your passion instead of thinking you need to “be something” to make your parents proud or do what you’ve been programmed for – what you’re “supposed” to do…
  2. Many Times College Methods And Education Are Outdated:
In my case, I was able to receive a better education through up-to-date cutting edge workshops, courses, books, training, and seminars, online .You can learn from proven gurus on specific subjects, depending on which direction you want to go.Much of the time, professors are teaching theoretical information, and this method would be like reading a book on being a professional snowboarder. It doesn’t really work that way.
  3. There Is No Guarantee:
How many friends and family do you know, who went to college and couldn’t even find a job for what they graduated for?How many people do you know, who have been working for years, and still can’t pay off their college loan? How many people do you know who have 2 and even 3 jobs, but they are still not wealthy? Success leaves clues. Lack of success also leaves clues!
  4. You will most likely invest your time acquiring a skill that will keep you busy for the next 40 years:
I too, wish I would have known this earlier. We all invest tons of time getting good at something. So what are you getting skilled with?Have you stopped to think about what you’re getting “good” at? If you stopped doing it, would you stop getting paid? Now if you stop to think about your future and have a vision for financial and time freedom, then you want to start investing your time getting good at FREEDOM, wouldn’t you? Well, the challenge is, they don’t teach financial freedom in school. They teach you how to memorize things and you may develop a skill that will keep you BUSY, but not FREE.
  5. Poor People Teach Their Kids “Go To School To Get A Great Job” and “The Smarter You Are, The More Money You Make“:So, you may have been taught to “go to school, get a job”, but wealthy people teach their kids how to HIRE you! They teach their kids financial freedom and investing, to then hire those previously mentioned skilled kids to build the businesses for them!

So… to get back to the question:

No, I’m not going to pressure my kids to go to college and “get a stable job” just because that’s what everybody else does.

If they go to college, it’s going to be specifically to help them with their own visions, ideas, and discipline – hopefully starting their own businesses.

In college, I know they will not be learning about money or leverage. They would have to read wealth books and learn about freedom for that – (that information will not in the school system or it’s books).

Escape the 9 to 5 insanity! The Rat Race will waste a perfectly amazing life! Look around at most people’s situation. You’ll notice, 90% of the time, college simply has not worked, if you want to be financially free.

Look around and you’ll discover that most of our struggling/busy friends have come out of college, and they are in debt, struggling.

There is simply no guarantee for an income, and most of the time, you will come out of college with a skill that will keep you BUSY and WORKING for linear income, for the rest of your life.

So, instead of any free time to travel or spend time with family, (getting to live instead of just exist to work), you will trade your time for money, struggling month-to-month, for many many years, just to try to pay off the compounding school loans.

The school system will teach you nothing NOTHING about money or leverage, which is why most people simply work until they are 65-70 years old, when your life may already be in decline. You worked, and you never got to live!

Did you know:

College is actually it’s own business system too. That is why people don’t learn the game of money there.

On top of being in debt, we come out of college and we’re tired of “learning”, so most people never go on to read the any more books, where you will discover how to achieve wealth through multiple streams of recurring income.

Most of the time, as soon as we get a raise from our J.O.B., or make more money in our “traditional” small business, we go out and get a bigger house and better car, “keeping up with the Jones'”, keeping ourselves in debt.

Now, I’ve been to college, and I have a good handful of college graduates working for and with me. I hired them because they are “smarter” and more skilled than I am, so they help me build my businesses.

The problem (for them) is: They are building MY dreams instead of their own. Sadly, if they do not decide they deserve better and open their minds to proven ideas that work, they will never get to live their own big dreams.

A picture of some snow on the side of a mountain.

Example:
One of my best friends: He graduated from college with a bachelor’s degree in graphic design. He was $35,000 in debt, and cannot pay it back, so it just keeps compounding, with interest.

Now he owes over $40k. He has worked for me, and worked extra hard at other jobs for years, being self-employed.

I personally think, (along with many other wealthy businessmen) that the “school” system is totally corrupt and sets you up for mediocrity (FAILURE).

Without the right information, you will be programmed to go to work and back your whole life, paying your taxes, so the other elite people (the 1%) can be wealthy.

I’m not going to get in too deep on that tax subject, (a whole other can of worms), but you have to watch out who you take advice from.

WARNING!!
You must stop taking advice from poor or middle-income people immediately, unless you want the same results!

If you want to be wealthy, from here on forward, you must only take advice from wealthy people, and do what they do, to have the results they have.

Have you been programmed for mediocrity, to be “normal” like everyone else, doing what their parents or “teachers” tell them?

Don't be a broke college graduateThink about it:
If you were having troubles and wanted advice on your relationship:
Would it be wise to take advice from a person who has been divorced 3 times and is currently SINGLE?
NO… because they’d be giving you their “valuable” advice, (that’s why it’s FREE, lol!), saying silly things like, “just dump her man, it’s not gonna work, there’s millions of other fish in the sea” and “forget her, she a b*tch”!! hahahahaha!!  ….

My point to you is this:
Gather the information so you can think (for yourself) and make an educated decision on what you want your life to look like.

Then, find people who actually have the KIND of life you want, and study and copy them to get the results they have.

If you want to be a plumber, go to a plumber for advice.
If you want to be a doctor, go to a doctor for advice. (They may be “skilled”, but if you’re looking for freedom, you will not find it there).
If you want to be wealthy, then get advice from wealthy people only… (residual money from assets. They play golf and travel all year long, having total freedom and wealth, with very minimal work).

They have tons of time freedom to do what they want, when they want, with who they want, for how long they want!

Remember: Wealth is measured in free time and quality of life, not money.

Now, what about you? Most people have to shrink their dreams to match their income, and then plan their life around that income.

They don’t think they deserve to make millions, so they just go to college and get a “stable job” or small business. Nothing wrong with that if you like 40-50 year plan of hard work. It’s just not for us!

So Then What Then?

Now, if you truly believe in freedom like we do, check out How To Completely Escape The Rat Race/Human Hamster Wheel, Without Losing Security!

More on my kids in college:

If my kids are passionate about college, then they will go! I’m going to fully support them in their passion, no matter what it is, because being able to do what you love and get paid for it is what I believe is success.

If you love what you do, then that’s success, because it’s not going to feel like “work” to you.

However, when it comes to leverage, money, and freedom, you must read wealth and leadership books.

You must invest time and effort into yourself, going to wealth mastery seminars and courses – not reading “school” books, learning from month-to-month struggling folks!
